At Catchafire, we're always looking for ways to make it easier for nonprofits to connect with volunteers. That's why we're excited to announce our latest feature: the ability to post volunteer opportunities via text message.

How it works

This innovative feature is designed to make posting volunteer opportunities as seamless and convenient as possible. Now, nonprofits can post a call anytime, anywhere, right from their mobile device. In a matter of minutes, nonprofits can gain access to skilled volunteer support in critical areas like finance, human resources, and marketing strategy.


The text to post feature is available 24/7, allowing volunteer managers to receive instant, around the clock support on posting new calls and connecting with volunteers. The process is simple - simply text 'HELP' or 'POST' to +1 (646) 681-5341 and you'll receive a text with call suggestions. Catchafire will then send a text with suggested topics for one hour consultation calls. The volunteer manager can respond with the question they’d like to talk to a skilled volunteer about. You can choose from pre-written calls, or write your own! Our system will automatically create a new call, making it visible to our network of thousands of skilled volunteers around the world.
